Hayes Center Schools District Goals

2018-2019

• Continue the ongoing process of developing and implementing Professional Learning Communities.

• Continue to strengthen and enhance the home to school/community connection. This involves the utilization of the school’s website, Facebook page, Twitter, Infinite Campus, school newsletters, and The Cardinal Flyer.

• Improve measurable student achievement in the core content areas – most especially in reading and mathematics. This will be done through the continued development of essential learning targets, alignment of the district curriculum with the Nebraska state standards, and the implementation of effective instructional practices.

• Embrace the change in curriculum emphasis dictated by the Nebraska Department of Education and continue serving each and every student.

• Persist in providing a safe and positive learning environment that protects our students and staff and continue to look at ways to improve the climate.
